The Bluefields School of Reggae
Bluefields, Nicaragua has strong cultural traditions, however due to its turbulent history and lack of resources those traditions are being lost. We are seeking your support to sponsor promising young artists to receive music classes.
The classes for each artist will cost just $30 dollars a month, and we have selected 6 artists to begin the program.
Your donation will enable Bluefields to keep their cultural traditions alive. You can contribute using paypal by clicking on the Chip In widget.Donate and receive monthly newsletters updating you with music and photos of the progress. We thank you for your support.
Objectives
- Provide free music classes to young talented Bluefields artists.
- Create employment for the older generation of Bluefields musicians.
- Bridge the generational gap, and nuture Bluefields traditional Maypole style.
- Produce new music with Bluefields talent, cultivate new talent, and work to promote their sound internationally.
